The new general aircraft model Y-12F, developed by AVIC Helicopter- a subsidiary of AviChina, has obtained type certificate issued by Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), which is an admission to Chinese civil market. This is a significant achievement in China’s general aviation industry.
AVIC Helicopter had also applied type certificate for Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), is on procedure of documentary review after completing all test flights. The FAA certificate will be an admission for Y-12F entering international markets.
Y-12F model is general aircraft with twin turbo-fan engine, designed based on requirements of domestic overseas customers. It can be widely applied in missions like transportation, ocean survey, aerial photograph medical rescue.
Compared with its competitors, Y-12F model has larger capacity, longer voyage, higher speed as well as lower operating costs.
