On 28 May 2023, China Eastern Airlines Flight MU9191 took off from Shanghai Hongqiao Airport and successfully arrived at Beijing Capital International Airport, marking the successful completion of the first commercial passenger flight of the domestic large aircraft C919.
The C919 is China's first self-developed trunk jetliner in accordance with international airworthiness standards and owns independent intellectual property rights. Several subsidiaries of AviChina are important suppliers of the C919.
